Pricing & FAQ

TMVS is open to anyone who wants to sing. Current students range from Broadway veterans to new singers looking to build confidence. What’s important to me is that every singer gets the personalized training that meets his, her, or their musical and psychic needs.

Yes. Research suggests that children can and should sing through voice changes, and TMVS has a breadth of experience that includes adapting advanced musical and vocal concepts for children as young as 8.
For TMVS’s youngest students, a short trial lesson is given to assess the student’s social-emotional readiness for voice lessons.
If you know a student younger than 8 who wants to sing, tell me! I have extensive experience teaching group singing lessons in P-5 settings and can recommend some excellent programming in and near New York City.

Yes, quality voice lessons should be available to anyone who wants to sing. Please, contact the studio if you have financial need but are interested in taking voice lessons with TMVS. Approximately 30% of singers currently receive studio-sponsored scholarships.
Similarly, if you are interested in funding someone else’s vocal study, you are more than welcome to pay more than the typical lesson cost. All additional payments go to the TMVS scholarship fund.

TMVS accepts Venmo (preferred), PayPal, Credit Card, and physical check when necessary.
Full payment is required 24 hours before a lesson or the first of a lesson package.
-
All lessons can be canceled or rescheduled without incurring a full lesson fee if the changes are made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson.
Any changes that are made after the 24-hour window are subject to a full lesson fee. Unpreventable circumstances (i.e., power outages, emergencies) will be handled reasonably on a case-by-case basis.
Finally, lessons are forfeited if a singer does not show up for 10 minutes, a full lesson fee will be charged.
